Craft-made Colorado

With a direct flight from Lafayette to Denver, a vacation in the Mile-High City is easier than ever. My gal pal Leah and I (you may remember her as my European travel partner from last summer) made the trip up to see our fellow classmate Ronnie. Ronnie is pretty crafty when it comes to food and drink so he showed us around town so we could sample the best they have to offer. Between the incredible amount of craft beer, predominately-organic produce scene, locally-sourced meats, insistence on non-GMO products and specialty stores everywhere, Denver, and it's adorable suburbs, is a foodie's dream.

It's easy to be crafty in Colorado with beer and spirit stores for home brewing and all the ingredients for an international gourmet meal. In just 30 minutes we were able to get authentic Indian and South American spices and Italian 15-year balsamic vinegar.

So if you're looking for a place to scratch your culinary itch, that also has some of the best outdoor activities and vistas, look no further. Fly Lafayette and get crafty in Colorado.
